Tips and Techniques


  1. 1. Always start with a little colour and build it up as you go, it is easier to add more colour than it Is to remove it!
    2.Be experimental, you won't know till you try!! Use unconventional colours or a different colouring medium, stamp onto patterned paper...go on try something new!!
    2. Use cotton buds and eye shadow applicators as a simple and cost effect method of applying chalks.
    3. Use brush markers to add colour to your stamp as an alternative to ink pads. Blow on the stamp to re-moisten the ink before you stamp.
    4.Add colour to the inside edges of your image then blend the colour inwards with a wet paintbrush.
    5.Add a white dot to the cheeks of character stamps to draw the eye to their cute features.
    6. Use solvent based ink pads to stamp your image to avoid lines running with water based mediums
